Tonight I got about 16 texts saying that our beloved prophet had passed away at 7 o'clock this evening. It's so sad to see him leave because he was such a great man and so sweet. but the Lord knew exactly what to do so I guess it was his time to go. But now Taters, and Cute Joanie, And Grandpa R. and all my other relatives get to speak and be with him. WOW! No one knows better than the lord when to do something especially involving our prophet. He was such an amazing man with such a strong spirit. I cant wait to go to school tomorrow and see all my friends in their church clothes. it'll be a really nice thing to honor him. after seminary i bet all my make-up will be gone. its going to be hard! but it'll be a great lesson given by a great man i cant wait! i'll post about it tomorrow.
1. We thank thee, O God, for a prophet To guide us in these latter days.We thank thee for sending the gospel To lighten our minds with its rays.We thank thee for every blessing Bestowed by thy bounteous hand.We feel it a pleasure to serve thee And love to obey thy command.
2. When dark clouds of trouble hang o’er us And threaten our peace to destroy,There is hope smiling brightly before us, And we know that deliv’rance is nigh.We doubt not the Lord nor his goodness. We’ve proved him in days that are past. The wicked who fight against Zion Will surely be smitten at last.
3. We’ll sing of his goodness and mercy. We’ll praise him by day and by night,Rejoice in his glorious gospel,And bask in its life-giving light. Thus on to eternal perfection The honest and faithful will go,While they who reject this glad message Shall never such happiness know.

is'nt it so intersting? the lord really does work in misterious ways. This whole thing, kind of puts things into perspective,That god has a plan for each of us. It may not be what we want it to, but in the end. we'll look back and realize...it was the right thing. Pres. Hinkley was a great man. he'll be truly missed. but just think, of the hapiness in heaven right now...
